Chung Antique- Artesian Swell

The reissue of Big Butter's 1989 weirdo classic, Brainsled. Mixing elements of drone, psych, free jazz, early synth music, sound collage, Minutemen-esque punk, and odd pop.

Running since 1986 and still going today, Big Butter is the project of two brothers. They were once on the roster The Residents' Ralph Records (if that gives you some idea of what you're in for).

This limited-edition, self-released double LP is decked out. Gatefold, inner sleeves, and cover are all adorned in glorious new paintings by band member Tim Biskup. Painstakingly remastered from the original audio and limited to 350 copies.

For the first volume of Why the Tapes Play Records' Covers Project series, nine artists interpret work from Swedish electro-folk band Wintergatan. A wide range of reinventions—from solo kalimba to chamber-pop to oddball electronic.

The latest in a series of brilliant EPs from Yaara Valey (formerly Indira Valey). Unique, otherworldly, mostly instrumental song-scapes.

First printing in O-card slipcase on white cassettes. Listen on Bandcamp.

Forward-thinking instrumental music for any occasion.

Corespondents- Westminster Fuller

Amazing movie soundtracks for everyday life. Before Desolation Wilderness became a K Records band, Nicolaas Zwart (Electric Sunset, Drone Ranger) made some of the most mind-alteringly beautiful compositions I’ve ever heard. This album has always been my favorite, due to how it posed that beauty against harsher elements.

Desolation Wilderness- Hedron Oscillator

Five songs that blend the breakcore side of Foxdye and the ambient side of Foxdye into intricately-composed IDM anthems.
